At the age of 5, I was already saying that I wanted to become a mountain guide to the despair of my mother...
As a child of Evolène, and descendant of a line of guides, I practiced ski racing until I was 19. I was determined to climb the peaks around me and, driven by curiosity, to travel the world and its mountains.
My passion took me to the Himalayas and to North and South America on several occasions. In our Alps I have climbed all the 4000m and done many great races.
When I became a Mountain Guide, I wanted to share my experience and my passion by taking my clients to make their dreams come true in summer and winter.
Antoine has been a full-time guide since 2002. Active in both training and guiding his clients, his steps have taken him from Pakistan to Argentina, but always bring him back to the Val d'Hérens.

"L’A Vieille", the hamlet in the mountain pastures of Eison, stands at an altitude of 2400m. Some of the chottes (huts in mountain pastures) are used as gîtes, and a shop for selling local products, with snack bar, has been established.
From Wednesday to Sunday, all day long, you can enjoy home-made Breton galettes and crêpes at Val d'Hérens' only crêperie. Our motto is to give priority to local products and small-scale craftsmen.
Le Saint-Martin Restobar provide a warm welcome and a treat for the tastebuds.
Lise and her team welcome you to taste locale produce at the snack bar in this mountain pasture. Owner Lise and her cheese are now so renowned that they were the basis for a project to renovate the mountain pasture at Loveignoz.
