The Trail des Hauts Forts takes you through some of the most beautiful panoramas in the Portes du Soleil. From the mountain pastures to the summits, via the ridges and passes bordering Switzerland, the diversity of the landscapes and terrain will ensure that all participants enjoy a great day out in the Portes du Soleil.

There are 4 race formats on offer:
- 52km - 3800 m D+ (over 12,000 ft)
- 36km - 2800 m D+ climb
- 23km - 1800 m D+ climb
- 27km - 1900 m D+ / 25km - 1900 m D+ relay race
