Marking signs to follow

To find your way, the Espace Trail du Grand Sancerrois routes are equipped with trail-running markers. On each marker is marked the number(s) of the route to be followed on their colour of difficulty (green - blue - red - black).

The trail-running markers are placed at regular intervals, at each change of direction. Between two directional trail markers, follow the existing hiking markers.

Advices

Before leaving:

  • Check the weather forecast and find out about the condition of the route
  • Inform a loved one of your itinerary and planned times
  • Take water and something to refuel
  • Only use the trails during authorized periods and pay attention to the information communicated on the routes

On the routes, please:

  • Respect the protected areas, the environments you pass through, whether natural, agricultural or wine-growing
  • When working in the vineyards, stay away from the machines and respect the work of the staff
  • Close the fences and barriers after our
  • Stay on the trails, do not cut the bends or pass through the rows of vines
  • Share natural spaces; let the flowers grow
  • Keep the dogs on a leash
  • Be discreet
  • Let's not make a fire
  • All portions of the route using public roads are subject to the highway code, be sure to respect them

  • Prioritize carpooling and public transports

A problem ? Report it ! In the event of problem (lack of markings, maintenance problems, environmental problems...), do not hesitate to signal this problem by using the reporting tool available on the route page, on the website (button under the map) or in the mobile app. You will be able to geolocate the problem and also send a corresponding photo. The Espace manager will be automatically notified of your report and will be able to check and deal with the problem.
