This route follows the same start as route n°8. After the forest of Brou and the Col de la Croix de Thel, a very nice and varied descent (GR de Pays). Be careful, a portion of rocks towards the Antoine, halfway down.

After the Crêt de la Fée, it is possible to take a detour (by turning right) to the Petites Chapelles du Haut Plateau de Saint Just d'Avray. Then you join the GR to the Col du Pilon, before returning by a quick descent to Valsonne and Saint Clément sous Valsonne.
