Sporty side
Difficult circuit, due to its significant drop over an average distance.
For experienced cyclists. From the start, the tone is set: 8 km to be covered with a 5.5% gradient to Dième. Then the road goes from pass to pass to Les Cassettes. Bumpy Road but without very high percentages for about 20 km. Descent to recover to Tarare. We attack the last bump and we finish the last 10 km without much difficulty.

Tourism Side
Partially mountainous, the Beaujolais massif is shaped by tangled valleys, sculpted by water. On this naturally worked relief, vineyards and forests exploited by man enhance the charm of the landscapes.
After Dareizé, the land offers itself to the vines to give the AOC Beaujolais. The traditional habitat of the winegrower is adorned with stones with ochre shades, extracted locally from open-air limestone quarries.
With the altitude, the wooded and less inhabited environment on the hills sometimes takes on a wild look.
