Cette itinérance de deux jours et une nuit offre aux marcheurs aguerris l’opportunité de bivouaquer au col de la Croix de l’Orme, entre montages, forêts, panoramas et découvertes patrimoniales sur le parcours.

Day 2 - 12.6 km - D+520 - Col de la croix de l'Orme bivouac area ? Amplepuis station
Highlights of the itinerary:
- The free-access bivouac area, equipped with 3 platforms, dry toilets and a drinking water point (closed during the winter).
- A station-to-station itinerary, with departure and arrival points located along the Lyon - Roanne train line.
- A chance to try your hand at bivouacking, without straying too far from populated areas, in the heart of a wilderness area in the mid-mountain Beaujolais mountains.
- Crossing the Beaujolais wind farm at ‘Les Besaces’, km 28 of the route.

- By respecting the rules of the bivouac area: it is forbidden to light fires, and the area must be quiet and clean so that it can be shared harmoniously with the other campers, the fauna and the flora.
This itinerary is suitable for experienced walkers who are 100% self-sufficient and used to trekking with camping equipment and two days' provisions on their backs.
