Cannes Sport is an official application of the Cannes City Council that invites you to run and hike through the city of Cannes.
Available in French and English, it is the ideal way to :

• choose to prepare your running or hiking route,
• follow your route and your performance thanks to geolocation
• take up challenges and share your best moments,
• practice paddling through 4 courses
• discover the swimrun on the island of Sainte Marguerite and the Palm beach point
• visualize live the state of the sea and the weather conditions thanks to webcams and weather stations.

16 trails dedicated to running and hiking are spread throughout Cannes. A color code indicates the difficulty of each trail.

• 4 easy trails identifiable in green,
• 5 intermediate trails identified in blue,
• 5 difficult trails identified in red,
• 2 very difficult tracks identifiable in black.

Once the app is installed, you will have the option of downloading maps for offline operation or locating and orienting yourself on the detailed maps using your smartphone's GPS. It will alert you if you stray from your route. Cannes sport also offers you to participate in challenges by timing yourself between the bluetooth beacons installed along the routes. This application is part of the municipal project "Cannes capital of outdoor sports" whose objective is to promote outdoor sports and to highlight the territory of Cannes.
