Marking signs to follow

To help you navigate on the trails, the routes are equipped with trail directional markers. 

It is also recommended to:

- download the GPX file available on each route page and upload it to your smartphone or GPS watch

- or use the Trail Connect app for navigation, where you can find all the routes in the Trail Area

Recommendations

Before you set off:

  • Check the weather forecast before your departure
  • Check the route conditions before setting off
  • Bring water and enough food or snacks for the route
  • Let someone know your planned route and expected schedule 

On the trails:

  • Respect the environments you pass through, whether natural or agricultural
  • Respect other users of the area 
  • Follow good practices around livestock guardian dogs: stay calm, do not approach the herd, and go around the area if possible
  • Close gates after passing through them, and do not cross fences to enter enclosed areas
  • Stay on marked trails and do not cut switchbacks
  • Keep all your waste with you and leave no trace of your passage
