In 2021, the Brest terres océanes Public Interest Group engaged Yoomigo, an agency specializing in trail running, to help to create a dedicated trail running aera.

The agency's field analysis revealed an exceptional diversity of lanscapes including cliffs, wooded valleys, rivers, estuaries, the roadstead, and preserved natural aeras, alongside urban environment offering trail runners a wide range of running experiencies.

Distinctive features emerged, such as swimrun courses and routes winding through the aera with the world's highest concentration of lighthouses. 

5 years later, 45 routes have been inaugurated !
