From the Vernant car park, after crossing the road near the Lac chairlift, head towards “l’Airon”. This is a very easy balcony walk through the Corbalanche woods, with virtually no climbing. At the end of the woods, there is a beautiful view of the Aravis mountains and the Arve valley. You then come to a mountain pasture for grazing herds of cows and goats before the lake finally comes into view. Take the same route back.
