This route begins with a steady climb between Flaine and the Col de Pierre Carrée (250 m+), followed by a fun descent through the Combe des Blanchots to reach Vernant. Going around the Lake of Vernant you will meet fishermen and the return will be through the forest of the Combe Enverse.
