This sustained climb (480m in altitude) is only for regular hikers, but the effort is worth it for the warmth of the “Tronchets” mountain chalet and the spec- tacular views afforded over the Aravis mountain range and the Arve valley! There are many curious legends about the “Croix des 7 frères” (or 7 brothers’ cross) which at 1684m is the highest point of your walk.
