Starting from Flaine Forum (DMC), you reach Flaine Forest by a good climb. Climb which continues towards the Gerrats chairlift, at the beginning of the season during the snow melting period, a beautiful waterfall is offered to you! On this trail full of vegetation at the place called "the middle of the woods" take the direction of "Bergerie de Véret". The first part is soft but follows a very strong climb, while passing by the torrent you access to the point of view at the entrance of the plateau of Veret which passes by a steamed zone, the sheepfold of Veret and takes you to the lake. Once you cross the Col de Veret you will discover Lake Vernant. The return to Flaine is done by the Combe des Blanchots to pass by the square Col de Piérre carrée. After the slope in the forest, you will go back to your starting point by the same path.
