This refuge is in the heart of the Ecrins National Park, a grandiose and wild environment. In the bottom of the valley of Vénéon, easily accessible since La Bérarde it offers a panorama on the glacier of the Pilatte and the most prestigious summits of the Ecrins
The mountain hut of Temple Ecrins was completely renovated in 2018. Bright and warm, the refuge is now equipped with showers. The beds consist of modules for 1 to 3 people and fitted with duvets. The large window of the dining room offers a breathtaking view of the typical Alpine landscapes of Oisans.

Access : Located in an alpine meadow populated with chamois and marmots.
Access only on foot in 2:45 easy walk from the Bérarde. The path climbs gently down the Pilatte valley along the Vénéon. After having passed the plan of the Carrelet, it winds through a forest of pine trees that are left around 2200 m to gain a foothold in the alpine lawn.
In the Ecrins National Park, prohibited dogs even on a leash.
