This half-day walk will take you to discover part of the religious heritage of the municipality of Abondance.

Departing from Lake Plagnes, you will meet the first chapel only after a few meters. It is the chapel Sainte-Anne, built in 1671 dedicated to the Saint of the same name to fight against the sterility of women.

You will then reach the Saint-Guérin chapel dating from 1675. Saint Guérin was abbot of Saint-Jean d'Aulps and known for his healing powers.

The next chapel encountered was that of Saint-Théodule, built in 1646 and dedicated to Saint-Théodule invoked to protect crops and livestock. Don’t forget the picnic for a lakeside break when you return from your walk!
