An easy hike in the forest with a small difference in altitude, very pleasant during the hot weather.
In La Chapelle d'Abondance, the departure is at the Pont des Moulins. You will take the path (GR 5) which goes up on the left in the forest.

You will discover the Sur Bayard waterfall after about 5 minutes of walking.
You will then go up to the Sur Bayard chalet. The view is very beautiful on the ski area of Braitaz, Châtel and the Pointe du Morclan.

The return journey is by the same path.
In winter, a snowshoeing itinerary is also available.

Opening : From 01/05 to 30/11. Ccessible outside the snow season and according to weather conditions. Please check with the Tourist Office beforehand for current access conditions. Recommended season: spring - summer - autumn. Subject to favorable weather.
