The Tour du Mont Caly is a family classic. The loop starts at the top of the Mont Chéry cable car, which you can use with your bike (provided you have a valid lift pass). After passing under the start of the Pointe chairlift, take the path that climbs to the right. After 800 m and entering a forest, continue straight ahead at the first crossroads on the downhill and then flat road that will take you to the Grange de Lachat, isolated in the meadow. A long 1300 m descent then takes you to the sumptuous hamlet of Mont Caly and its typical Savoyard mountain chalets. A real little paradise! Here you can take a break and enjoy one of Les Gets finest views of the Mont Blanc range. A drinking water supply is available in the hamlet. The return journey takes you along the path below, which alternates between ascents and descents in the forest. This route can also easily be taken in the other direction.
