In the heart of the Lac d'Aiguebelette region, come and enjoy the great outdoors on a variety of trails, between the countryside, the lake and the mountains... with the reward of incredible views of the Rhône, or the emerald waters of Lac d'Aiguebelette.

Discover a selection of 15 trail routes, from easy to expert level, proposed from 7 sites in the area. These routes are specially designed to offer everyone the opportunity to explore the area by running, whether they are a beginner or an experienced trail runner. A perfect playground for initiation into the practice or for specific training all year round!

Marking signs to follow

To guide you, the Espace Trail du Pays du Lac d'Aiguebelette has equipped routes with trail-running markers. On each markers, you will find the number(s) of the route with difficulty colour (green - blue - red - black).

Please note : trail-running markers are positioned at regular intervals, at each change of direction. Between two trail-running markers, follow the existing hiking markers.

Advices


Before your run :

  • Check the weather forecast before you leave, the itineraries can be dangerous in case of bad weather
  • Find out about the state of the route
  • Before you leave Inform someone close to you of your itinerary and the planned timetables
  • Take water and food and drink

On the routes :

  • Please respect the natural and agricultural environments you pass through 
  • In the Lac d'Aiguebelette nature reserve, respect the regulations of this protected natural area
  • Stay on the paths and do not cut the laces
  • All portions of the route using the public highway are subject to the highway code, make sure you respect it
  • Keep all your rubbish with you
