At 600 meters above sea level, in the heart of Beaujolais, you will be welcome in this charming 22 m² studio located on the ground floor of our house, an old stone farmhouse completely renovated. It is located on the heights of the village of Saint-Clément sur Valsonne, 5 minutes by car from the town of Tarare which has all the amenities (all shops, cinema, swimming pool, markets, train station, hospital, etc.). It is an ideal place to recharge your batteries in the heart of nature through hikes, walks in the forest, mushroom picking, cycling, mountain biking for the more athletic, swimming at “Lac des Sapins”... You can also discover the region of Beaujolais, the medieval villages of Beaujolais des Pierres Dorées (“Oingt”, “Ternand”,...), and Lyon (40 minutes by car or train). This accommodation is ideal for 3 people, but possible for 4 because it has a bedroom separated by a curtain with a double bed 140 x 190 and a bunk bed 90 x 190, as well as a very easily convertible sofa bed in 120x200. The entrance is independent. Access to the accommodation is via the terrace after a few steps, this accommodation is therefore not accessible to people with disabilities. Adjoining the studio, a beautiful wooden terrace with garden furniture and 2 deckchairs, which you can enjoy all year round in good weather, as it is facing south and protected from the North wind. It is extended by a fenced garden of 60 m2 with a small shallow pond, inhabited by frogs and protected by a small fence. You will be able to appreciate the presence of our animals, ponies, hens and dwarf goats (which can be found at the end of the garden and even enter it under surveillance if you wish…), our 2 cats and our very sociable dog. We can accommodate riders and provide a fenced meadow with fodder if necessary and storage space for equipment. We also have an 18 x 40m sand quarry. Other remarks From the house, you can go hiking, mountain biking or cycling on many marked trails, maps and topos are available. Our gite is close to the GR7 and the Grande Traversée du Beaujolais mountain bike route. No rental per night, minimum of 2 nights. The price is decreasing according to the number of days. A cot is available on request.

Welcome to Domaine de la Rue de la Tour in Valsonne, a friendly little village in the southern Beaujolais Vert region, 5 km from the Pierres Dorées Beaujolais region. Christelle welcomes you to her large architect-designed house. She offers 3 types of accommodation: - a furnished apartment for 2-4 people on the first floor of the house, with private terrace and 60 m² of floor space - upstairs, on the same level as the terrace, the bohemian Lisa bedroom - on the 1st floor, the Cloé room, a 40 m² master suite with a huge dressing room and spacious bathroom. All accommodations have access to the outdoor Nordic bath, in the orchard with a breathtaking view of the beautiful church of Valsonne and the meadows and forests so characteristic of the Beaujolais Vert region. Let's visit the bohemian Lisa bedroom.... with its homemade Soane driftwood headboard. Its 160 x 200 bed is extremely comfortable, thanks to both the bedding and the Carré blanc linen. The high table lets you work or eat in front of the TV. And its small herbal tea corner will quench your thirst all year round. Finally, the bathroom is functional, with a vanity unit, walk-in shower and WC. Each overnight stay includes one hour's swimming in the outdoor Nordic bath....all you need to do is bring your bathing suit, and everything else from bathrobes to flip-flops and hats is provided. The Rue de la Tour ski area is ideally located for a wide range of activities. To the north, behind the Col du Pilon, 15 minutes away, enjoy all the outdoor activities of the magnificent Lac des Sapins. To the south, 5 km away, you'll enter the Pierres Dorées Beaujolais region... from St Vérand to Ternant, a small village full of character, culminating in Oingt, one of France's most beautiful villages. And let's not forget the many hiking and mountain-biking trails that surround us, giving you the chance to explore the incredible panoramas between the Loire and Saône rivers....Bref, you're going to love the Beaujolais region!
