From the Col du Festre, you will discover the Aiguilles sector, between mountain pastures and wilderness.
Be careful ! a delicate passage in the rocky bar, be careful between kilometer 2 and 3 at Above the Saute Aure Cascade .

From the House of the Col du Festre, follow the GR94 until Col des Aiguilles. You cross the magnificent Vallon des Aiguilles passing by the fountain of the Roy to join the Col des Aiguilles. You then switch to the Drôme to join the ski resort La Jarjatte. Continue on the GRP of the Tour du Dévoluy towards the Col de la Croix then the Col des Aurias to reach the Lac du Lauzon and the Col du Charnier. Then descend to the magnificent Vallon du Charnier for 5,5 km on the GR93 to reach Lachaup hamlet, where there is a drinking fountain. Less than 4 km away you will reach the Col du Festre.
