Due to the exceptional level of drought and the numerous fire starts that mobilize the firefighters' intervention capacities, access to the paths between the docks and the Mont Rachais is forbidden by municipal order until further notice.

Itinerary n°3 : La Bastille is the first class warm up for a nice walk towards the Col de Clémencières and the discovery of the Chartreuse balconies.

It's time to hydrate to attack the ascent in the forest towards the Mont Rachais. From the top, enjoy the 360° view on the massifs before plunging into the valley by a very technical single.
Water points : Porte Saint-Laurent, Pied du Glacis, Col de Clémencières, La Tronche Mairie
Marking : Red trail markers, route no. 3 The routes follow the hiking network and Trail markers are affixed to the directional posts. In addition to the speci?c Trail signposting, you can orientate yourself by following the directions and markers on the ground.
