Did its Mille-feuilles form inspire the name of this beautiful mountain ? Magnificent views of the Val d'Arly. The route back runs past the small Bonnefontaine chapel where the Virgin Mary is believed to have once appeared.

From the car-park, walk down to the hamlet and take a right turn towards "les Nantets". When you reach the last farm, leave the farm road and take the path down to the left towards the river. Turn left, then right, towards the "Ferme des frasses". After 20 minutes you will reach a dirt road. Go right here and after passing "Le Sciozier" take a left towards "Le Gateau".
