This route will allow you to discover the beautiful Sancerre hills, magnificent panoramas and authentic and welcoming wine-growing villages.
At the start, this path is shared with routes 11 and 13 but you continue towards Petit Morice crossing the D955.
After the activity zone you turn left along a track towards Chavignol, after crossing the village you go up to Graveron near the Monts Damnés vineyard, then via Cul de Beaujeu, Chavignolet, you arrive at Côte d' Amigny. A passage through the village of Amigny and you find the Emois vineyards. Carefully cross the D923 to go up to Belle Chaume, the departure site for paragliders. Then you access the natural cirque of Poussie entirely planted with vines to arrive at Venoize which you leave via the Marcigoi path. You pass through the wine-growing villages of Reigny then Champtin to return to L’Estérille via the Chêne Marchand vineyard.
You will climb to Croupon and Garennes vineyards before returning to Garennes woods and Pierre Coupillère woods to arrive at the village of Bannon. On the eastern edge of Sancerre vineyard you arrive at the village of Frétoy then at Thauvenay, we go up through Château de Thauvenay before a beautiful climb towards Orme aux loups. The descent is via the climb and descent stage shared with the VVTists before returning to the path to the pond then arriving via Casse-Cou path.
