Worth a visit nearby: Château d'Ételan Built of brick and stone in the late 15th century, Château d'Ételan was the first Renaissance château to be built in France. Overlooking the Seine, it has been home to such illustrious figures in French history as Catherine de Médicis and the philosopher Voltaire.
