Anthony Turpaud

The village's largest fountain, built in 1832.
This fountain has undergone several renovations since its construction. It is supplied with drinking water.
To save residents the hassle of fetching water from the Sestriere torrent, a network was created in the 19th century with three fountains and a washhouse, served by a basin at the top of the village and an open-air canal.
This initial installation experienced operational problems due to winter frost and had to be modified.
This network is still maintained today, and numerous water points supply the village with water.
