This sundial dates from 1880 and is the only English-language sundial in the village.
"Where the sun is, the hour is not," this dial tells us.
As you stroll through the village streets, you'll see that some of the south-facing house facades bear sundials. Five of them date from the 18th to the 19th century. They all bear a motto.
Also admire the beautiful facade of the house bearing the sundial in English. It was completely restored in 2021, down to the details of the balconies and facade decorations.
