Pralong is a Nordic ski area off the beaten track, with trails for beginners and skating tracks for demanding cross-country skiers. Its location at the foot of the Grande Dixence and next to the Dixence river means it enjoys excellent snow conditions from December to March. The cross-country trail is 6 km long with a slight elevation gain of 70 m. The Pralong Nordic area is part of Romandie Ski de Fond, complementing the ‘Evolène-Les Haudères/Arolla’ sector.

Access cards are compulsory and can be purchased online, at the Hérémence Tourist Office or at the Café-Restaurant du Val des Dix in Pralong.

Access to the area is free for children under 16.
