


Open from mid-June (when the cattle are taken up to the mountain pastures) to the end of October, like the refreshment bar, the lodge has five old barns that have been completely renovated. Each one has two floors with a living room and bathroom on the ground floor and four or eight beds on a mezzanine level accessible by ladder. The total capacity is 20 people. Meals are served at the refreshment bar, offering guests the opportunity to sample local produce.

The Praperoz refreshment bar is located on the road leading to the Dixence dam, at the start of the Planie trail and its Montagn'art sculptures. Open during the summer season, the place is frequented by locals for a local break on their return from hiking. In winter, it is the meeting point for cross-country skiers waiting for the ski bus back, a welcome break after a beautiful snowshoe hike in Val des Dix or a day of cross-country skiing in Pralong. Close to the Praperoz refreshment bar, you will find the Léteygeon ski lift and its snow garden, where you can learn the joys of skiing. Top tip: For ski touring enthusiasts, a secure route starting from the top of the 4 Vallées ski lifts will take you to the refreshment bar. A shuttle service (Pralong-Les Masses ski bus) will then take you back to the start of the Les Masses facilities.

Christophe welcomes you from Wednesday to Sunday to his charming Pension des Aiguilles Rouges in Mâche, where you can discover the architectural heritage of this old village by following his educational trail.

At the beginning of August, it is the transhumance to the pastures of Essertze after having grazed for almost 50 days at Mandelon. Close to the mountain pasture, the Essertze hut welcomes hikers and visitors to the Gouilles d'Essertze, a protected natural site of remarkable wild beauty with its 7 small lakes.
The Cabane d'Essertze is managed by the Ski Club Hérémencia. It is located at an altitude of 2191 m, in the commune of Hérémence. Open from the end of June to mid-September, it welcomes you for a drink, a bite to eat or even to spend the night.The small restaurant features local products. In season and depending on the availability, it is also possible to buy tommes and serac from the Mandelon mountain pasture at the Cabane. The hut is looked after by volunteers during the summer.Accessible on foot or by car, it is located in a magnificent setting in the heart of the Valais mountains.

This agrotourism cottage offers accommodation on the Mandelon mountain pasture with five renovated cottages equipped with all modern comforts (private shower and toilet, linen and bedding provided). Each cottage has two floors with a living room and bathroom on the ground floor. The sleeping area, on the mezzanine, is accessible via a ladder. The bedroom has 4 to 8 beds. Les Gîtes de Mandelon is open from mid-June to the end of October, as is the refreshment bar, which offers a catering service (lunch and dinner). The mountain pasture is accessible by car.
