Open from mid-June (when the cattle are taken up to the mountain pastures) to the end of October, like the refreshment bar, the lodge has five old barns that have been completely renovated. Each one has two floors with a living room and bathroom on the ground floor and four or eight beds on a mezzanine level accessible by ladder. The total capacity is 20 people. Meals are served at the refreshment bar, offering guests the opportunity to sample local produce.

In the hamlet of Riod nestles this charming studio appartment for intimate stays away from the crowds. It is ideal for 2 people ans is located on the ground floor of a MINERGIE-P family home. The bedroom has a large double bed ans is separeted from the rest by an opaque curtain. The living room has a double sofa bed (140 cm) and a single sofa bed (90 cm), both of which are confortable and can sleep up to 5 people.

Ossona is located at the heart of a beautiful network of walking trails. One-off activities can be organised on request, in collaboration with experts on the local flora and fauna. Other leisure activities are also available such as archery trails (more information...) puzzle trails for children and play parks (slides, swings, etc.).

Every day, from 6:30 am until 6:30 pm, you can enjoy home-made Breton galettes and crêpes at Val d'Hérens' only crêperie. Our motto is to give priority to local products and small-scale craftsmen.

Le Saint-Martin Restobar provide a warm welcome and a treat for the tastebuds.
 

Lise and her team welcome you to taste locale produce at the snack bar in this mountain pasture. Owner Lise and her cheese are now so renowned that they were the basis for a project to renovate the mountain pasture at Loveignoz. This took the form of a new building between the barn and the shepherds' house which serves as a snack bar, allowing Lise to display and sell some of the 5500 kg of raclette and tomme cheese she produces every summer in this magical place.

Located close to the guesthouses and open to everyone, the inn welcomes you from April to October. At lunchtime and in the evening (by reservation), it offers a small menu as well as, upon request, traditional country and regional dishes prepared largely with products from the farm and the local area.

Nestled at an altitude of 1,500 metres in the small mountain resort of Les Masses, the newly renovated O Bois Sauvage restaurant welcomes food lovers in a chic and cosy atmosphere. The restaurant, with its large windows, offers a sweeping view of the Val d'Hérens, while the sunny terrace boasts magnificent views of the Dent Blanche, the Matterhorn and the Grande Dixence dam. The restaurant is located 250 metres from the Les Masses chairlift, which takes you to the heart of the Thyon-4 Vallées ski area, allowing you to take a gourmet break or enjoy a drink in the sun in the middle of winter. The young chef, Kévin Villaret, who is passionate about cooking, offers gourmet cuisine made with excellent ingredients and showcases the treasures of the Valais throughout the seasons. He made his debut in Gault & Millau with a score of 13/20. The bar offers a selection of local beers as well as a choice of excellent local and international Swiss wines.

The restaurant is adjacent to the En Masses Resort hotel residence: a beautiful location in Hérémence for gourmet stays.

The Praperoz refreshment bar is located on the road leading to the Dixence dam, at the start of the Planie trail and its Montagn'art sculptures. Open during the summer season, the place is frequented by locals for a local break on their return from hiking. In winter, it is the meeting point for cross-country skiers waiting for the ski bus back, a welcome break after a beautiful snowshoe hike in Val des Dix or a day of cross-country skiing in Pralong. Close to the Praperoz refreshment bar, you will find the Léteygeon ski lift and its snow garden, where you can learn the joys of skiing. Top tip: For ski touring enthusiasts, a secure route starting from the top of the 4 Vallées ski lifts will take you to the refreshment bar. A shuttle service (Pralong-Les Masses ski bus) will then take you back to the start of the Les Masses facilities.

Adjacent to the Edelweiss Market grocery store (below the church), this small, recently renovated café offers a selection of beverages. Outside, there are a few tables where you can enjoy a drink and snacks.

Christophe welcomes you from Wednesday to Sunday to his charming Pension des Aiguilles Rouges in Mâche, where you can discover the architectural heritage of this old village by following his educational trail.

AVA, our à la carte restaurant, invites you to discover authentic transalpine cuisine inspired by recipes from the chef's grandmother, who hails from the Dolomites. In fact, ‘ava’ means ‘grandmother’ in the local language of this region. This brasserie is open every evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Located in the heart of the Dent Blanche Resort, Le Sapin Bleu is the place to be in Les Masses to extend your day after skiing. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, this après-ski bar offers a fine selection of Valais wines, signature cocktails and craft beers, accompanied by gourmet platters and local specialities. The menu features traditional dishes such as cheese or meat fondues, rösti and croûtes, as well as takeaway snacks such as sandwiches and paninis. Throughout the year, Le Sapin Bleu will host festive events to bring visitors and locals together in an authentic and relaxed atmosphere.

This agrotourism cottage offers accommodation on the Mandelon mountain pasture with five renovated cottages equipped with all modern comforts (private shower and toilet, linen and bedding provided). Each cottage has two floors with a living room and bathroom on the ground floor. The sleeping area, on the mezzanine, is accessible via a ladder. The bedroom has 4 to 8 beds. Les Gîtes de Mandelon is open from mid-June to the end of October, as is the refreshment bar, which offers a catering service (lunch and dinner). The mountain pasture is accessible by car.

The Pension du Belvedere offres nine renoveted rooms in a typical charming Val d'Herens building and a table d'hôte, by reservation.

SWISSPEAK Resorts offers comfortable accommodation in the Valais Alps, ideal for winter sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. The complex consists of three six-storey buildings with 78 modern flats for between 2 and 10 people. All flats are fully equipped, including a modern kitchen with dishwasher, oven and coffee machine. The majority of the flats have a balcony, providing a pleasant space in which to relax.

The complex offers several amenities such as a reception to cater for guests' needs, a restaurant, as well as a games room and a children's room, perfect for families. There is also a ski room for safe storage of equipment. Just next door, in an adjacent building, is the Les Grand Bains d'Hérémence spa centre, with indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna and a steam room (access is not included in the stay).

Underground parking is available at an additional cost, as is the possibility of bringing pets. Other amenities: Wine Bar / direct access to the Les Grands Bains d'Hérémence (extra charge)
