In a month's time, Trail Drôme will be hosting the French Trail Championships !

The best French athletes, many of them among the world's trail gotha, will be taking to the trails of the Buis region in the hope of winning the title and securing their ticket to the World Championships. They will be followed by hundreds of trail runners and enthusiasts from all over France, who will be testing their limits as they climb the Col de Milmandre, the Col des Plates and the Montagne de Banne. To make sure the party is complete, runners of a more modest level who have not obtained the precious sesame for the French Championships will still be able to register for the Trail Drôme as 'Open' competitors.

Finally, this is a historic event for Buis-les-Baronnies, which will become the first town to host the French Championships for the second time, and will be able to boast the very unofficial title of French trail capital.
