From one of the most beautiful detours in France, to the historic capital of lindens, cross the mountains of the Baronnies in Drôme Provençale. You will start by crossing the mountain of Garde Grosse which is a big part of the city of Nyons, until the Col de la Croix Rouge. You will continue to follow the GR9 which continues on a more flat trail, along tracks and wide paths to the Col de Milmandre. You will finally find more trails to switch to the other side of Malpertuis before joining the road and streets of Buis-les-Baronnies.

The associations Courir à Nyons and Buis J'aime J'y Cours organize each winter an event with several races which take this route. Follow the news !

The areas you are about to take is a Natura 2000 area, known for its remarkable biodiversity. You too, participate in its preservation by having an eco-responsible attitude. From Eygues to Ouvèze, this route will make you discover the hinterland and its secret hills. After crossing Garde Grosse, you will walk through the Bordette valley, where for several years the discreet Vulture percnoptère, one of the most threatened vultures in the world, nested. Arriving to Buis, you will cross landscapes of well exposed moors where sing many species of Mediterranean birds, including the Eurasian warbler and the ortolan sparrow.
