To reach the Ennuye valley, you'll first have to pass over the Col de Soubeyrand at an altitude of 990 m, the valley's only northern gateway. You'll then plunge into the mosaic of colors of this vast valley, once known as the "granary of the Baronnies" for its gently sloping hillsides, ideal for growing cereals. Today, the land is divided between pastures, apricot and cherry orchards and lavender fields. It's against this backdrop of a variety of crops that you'll head south to the Col d'Ey, where you'll find a remarkable view of Mont Ventoux (718 m alt.). The route then descends to Sainte-Jalle and its splendid 12th-century Romanesque church, before returning to the Eygues valley and up its gorges to the start of the loop: Rémuzat. Ideal season: June.

Admission fee : Free access.

Opening : All year round daily.
