From the village, head due south along a path that passes under the church before descending towards the Gialorgues torrent (approximately 40 metres of negative elevation gain). Cross the torrent, then follow the track that goes back up to the south-east towards the Col d'Anelle. At around 1700 m, before reaching the pass, leave the track to turn south-west and go up a large clearing in the forest, the remains of an old ski slope. You then join a well-marked path which, after a few hundred metres, leads to a fork.

Take the left path to reach the Content ridge, at around 2000 m altitude. Then follow the ridge towards the west, always staying on the northern slope (the other slope being very steep and exposed), until you reach a large cairn at 2433 m. Continue due west on the ridge, cross a small pass, then climb to the summit of Mont Aunos (2514 m), marked by an imposing cairn.

For the ski descent, return to the small pass, then plunge towards the north (passages S4/S3), pulling slightly to the left at the start to reach a valley which opens onto a flat area at around 2100 m. From this flat area, aim for a small valley on the right and descend it, losing around 100 m of altitude difference, to a natural platform. A beautiful straight gap in the forest (old ski lift route) then allows you to find the path taken on the ascent. This descent is sustained, with some pretty little walls, but remains relatively narrow (around 20 meters wide).
