In the heart of the village of Olmi-Cappella, the Maniccia family raises a herd of 120 goats.
Marie-Ange makes four cheeses for you to discover: traditional, tome, brocciu AOP and brocciu passu.
Marie-Ange and Nicolas Maniccia's young farm, U Filanciu, is nestled in the heart of the village of Olmi è Cappella. It's in this renowned Ghjunsani village that they've been raising a herd of 120 goats from Castagniccia for the past year. "I always knew that one day I'd own my own herd," recalls Nicolas.

For this former semaphorist and lover of the marine environment, the conversion is total! Just like Marie-Ange, who embraced the project from the moment they met. "Although I was initially attracted to a sheep farm, I quickly fell in love with this endearing animal," explains Marie-Ange.
This closeness is immediately apparent when you watch Angelita, their 9-year-old daughter, move among the animals. The little girl sometimes helps her mother make the four cheeses that Marie-Ange offers visitors: traditional, tome, brocciu, certified PDO, and brocciu passu. Perhaps the next generation!

For the time being, U Filanciu has no shortage of projects: a new sheepfold is due to be built, and European approval has recently been obtained.
To take the adventure to the next level, we're planning to take the short circuit outside!
