Heading up a flock of 120 ewes, Serena welcomes you to her farm and offers quality farmhouse cheeses made from raw ewe's milk.
The Santa Vena farm raises Corsican ewes in a pastoral system. Serena offers quality farm products: tomme, Venacais or Bastelica ripened cheese, fresh crottin, brocciu PDO and yoghurts.

By her own admission, she could spend hours pampering her animals!
Young Serena Sanna is like a fish in water. Watching her 120 beloved ewes, it's easy to see that she's driven by passion alone.
I'm in love with these animals," she confides with a big smile. When I had the chance to take over the farm of a retiring farmer, I knew that breeding was my vocation.
Serena, 24, patiently learns cheese-making techniques, accompanied by her partner Jonathan, the same age. No one in my family is a farmer," she explains. But the agricultural high school in Sartè, my BTS in business strategy and an internship with a shepherdess on the Peri plain convinced me that this was the way for me.

Serena doesn't want to increase the size of her herd, but rather guarantee consistent quality at each 60-liter daily milking.
Her main objective: to improve the comfort of her ewes.
"I've learned to be patient. The more you get worked up, the more the animals get angry. You have to listen to them. And without a doubt, they'll give you the best," she concludes, always with a smile.
