Vertical training is the most specific training encountered on trail-running. During the races, the competitors generally follow several sequences of ascents and descents that are difficult to support in a homogeneous way in terms of speed, climbing speed and sensations. Indeed, generally the starts are always made at a steady pace and the average speed decreases as fatigue sets in and the distance gets longer. The objective of this exercise is to push back the fatigue threshold by repeating a series of short climbs that can be done at any level and in any amount of time. You will have the choice between 3 levels of difficulty (beginner - intermediate - advanced).
