In the headlines
Ski and telemark training course in Gourette

The Ossau Valley Alpine Club is organizing an alpine skiing and telemark skiing course under the auspices of the departmental committee: an excellent opportunity for members to learn, progress, and improve their skills in a friendly and safe environment. This course is particularly recommended for those who wish to take up ski touring. It will take place every Saturday morning from January 10 to February 7, 2026, at the Gourette resort. Open to young people aged 13 and over and adults. All levels, from beginners to advanced! VTT on ice 2026/01/25 in Gourette!

The Gourette ski resort is hosting a brand new event in the Pyrenees! A mountain bike competition on snow: the TROPHEE VTT on ICE. A timed descent, testing technical skill, speed, and snow management. Organized by the Gourette ski resort in collaboration with the La Lobot association, this event promises thrills, adrenaline, and show in an exceptional mountain setting.

French Snowboard Cup in Gourette Feb 28–Mar 1, 2026

The association of snowboard clubs and competitors, Riders Ready, is organizing this French snowboard cup, approved by the FFS (French Ski Federation), in partnership with several resorts. The competitions on February 28 and March 1 will take place in the Ossau Valley, in Gourette! All races are open to FFS license holders and non-license holders over the age of 15.
