In the course of your walk, you may encounter the local guarding-dogs. These are large white dogs whose task is to guard the flocks. It is essential to adapt your behaviour for your own safety and that of the flock. For more information, you can find documentation on guard dogs at tourist information offices in the Ossau Valley.
