From the start point of Trail 1 at section 16 (Boulevard du Midi-Louise Moreau) go up the Nadine Path and you will arrive at Avenue du Dr Raymond Picaud. Cross this street and then go up the long uphill section along Boulevard du Riou and under the stone Saint Victor Bridge before crossing the connecting point with Trail 8 on the left-hand side.
After the uphill winding turns of Boulevard du Riou, cross the street and you arrive at a steep climb up Avenue du Grand Jas before arriving at Avenue de Grasse. Cross the street, passing in front of the Alice Blake fountain, and go up Avenue des Broussailles, passing in front of Cannes Hospital. Then turn right into Avenue de France and begin a downhill section in Avenue du Petit Juas, where you will see the magnificent building housing the Cannes Art School.
At the bottom of Avenue du Petit Juas, at the roundabout, (<-> liaison with Trail 6) continue along Rue du Châtaignier. Turn left again onto Avenue du Petit Juas and you will arrive in Avenue de Grasse (<-> liaison with Trail 8). Continue on in front of the central police station and cross the expressway.
Then take Rue du Maréchal Joffre and you will reach Allées de la Liberté Charles de Gaulle and the arrival point for Trail 1, near the Cannes ferry port.
