A Matricula has been a family affair since 2008. With almost 190 beehives, the honey house produces PDO honey and makes gingerbread, cookies and other delicacies by appointment only!
A Matricula is above all a wonderful family story. Since 2008, Jean-Claude, Estelle and their two sons, François and Joseph, have been working together to improve the quality and value of their produce. It all began with Jean-Claude's professional reconversion.

"I've always had this passion for bees, so one day, you stop thinking, get trained and decide to take the plunge!"

Estelle also dives happily into the adventure! Since 2012, she has devoted herself entirely to making gingerbread, cookies and other delicacies in the six flavors already available in the A Matricula honey ranges. She is also present every morning, six months of the year, at the Île Rousse market and every afternoon at the honey house. "There's no time to lose, as you might have guessed," jokes the lady of the house. Especially since the couple now has 190 logs! François, who has just completed an apprenticeship in sales, will soon receive his diploma to work alongside his father in developing the business. And to spread the word about A Matricula's flavors, you need good communication! Joseph, the youngest son, is responsible for graphic design.

In unison, the Gras family gives its letters of nobility to an exceptional product: honey made in Corsica!
