
Corsica is hosting the Adventure Race World Championship (ARWC 2026). 100 international teams will take on an extreme challenge: a 500-km nonstop race through the mountains and along the coast. The race starts in Corte and ends in L’Ile-Rousse. The event features hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and orienteering!From September 27 to October 9, 2026, Corsica will host the Adventure Racing World Championship (ARWC 2026).
Nearly 100 teams from more than 30 countries will take on an extreme challenge: covering 500 km completely on their own—through hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and orienteering—in the heart of Corsica’s landscapes.
The course, connecting Corte to L’Ile-Rousse, promises a spectacular journey through the sea and mountains and will bring together the world’s top adventure racing athletes.
