After a fairly easy first third on the way to Boeschepe, the Mont des Cats sector provides its share of more challenging trails and a succession of tougher climbs and descents. The last two kilometres will allow you to take it easy again, with a largely downhill profile. Whether it's just for fun or for a sustained effort, keep your eyes open to take full advantage of the cultural heritage around you: oratories, chapels, the Moulin de l'Ingratitude, the Abbaye du Mont des Cats... Flanders is full of treasures, some of which are listed as Historic Monuments!
