Starting from the Eaux-Bonnes tourist office, the Impératrice route has a simple elevation profile with a single ascent through the Gourzy beech forest. In the first third of the route you will enjoy a magnificent view of Eaux-Bonnes and the mountains, then at halfway you head down the valley on a very pleasant, wide path.
